They use a different driver with much of the same qualities as the electostat so blended really well. I didn't know there was so much detail going on back there. Nice looking and I like that there is two grills in the box, one black and one grey. With the grey grill, they look nice and sound fantastic. I tried them as a front speaker as well and was surprised at how clear and dynamic they where.
